All DTF transfers are printed to order. Turnaround time is 1-3 business days. We also offer a RUSH option if you're needing things quicker.
Pressing Instructions:
- High pressure
- Cotton: 300 - 320 degrees F for 8-10 seconds
- Polyester, synthetics and blends: 260 - 275 degrees F for 8 - 10 seconds
- Hot, Warm or Cold Peel
- Repress 5 seconds with parchment paper, butcher paper or a heavy cotton tee (our recommendation)
All of our prints are printed on instant peel film. They can be pressed for as little as 3 seconds and hot peeled. HOWEVER, if you are unsure of your pressure level and temperature accuracy, cool peeling is recommended.
Prints may appear more vibrant on a computer screen. If you are uploading your own custom designs, please ensure the quality is 300 DPI and file size is 12" or greater. If you are unsure of the file quality, please send us an email (texastransfersanddesigns@gmail.com) and we are happy to check it for you.
What is a DTF Transfer?
A DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfer is a printing method used to transfer designs onto fabric and other materials. It involves printing a design onto a special film using water-based pigment inks and then applying a layer of adhesive powder and curing it. All of our transfers are printed with commercial printers and commercial grade products to offer you the best quality and color accuracy.
Benefits of DTF Transfers:
- Works on a variety of fabrics (cotton, polyester, blends, leather, etc.).
- More durable and stretchable than some other printing methods.
- No need for pre-treatment like Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing.
- Vibrant colors and high-resolution details.
- Can be stored for later use (unlike screen printing, which needs to be done immediately).
